Malolactic fermentation: 18 months in Barrique also in Tonneaux and 12 months in bottle

Colour: deep, intense ruby red

Perfume: The fragrance offers a pleasant concentration of notes ranging from ripe red fruit, blackcurrants and cherries to spicy with hints of vanilla and sweet toasted notes that go to make up a bouquet of great persistance and elegance.

Flavour: Velvety and caressing, rich in sweet tannins with a long finish and a good aftertaste of ripe back berry fruit. It displays an harmony of flavour and a sophistication that make it a wine of distinctive character to be enjoyed over time.

Serving temperature: 18°

Food matches: Perfect with first courses with game sauce, red meat roasts,stewed beef and pot roasts. Its full flavour also goes well with mature cheeses.
